Recruiting News: Three-Star CB Aidyn Wiggins Down to Seven; Commitment Looming

On Monday, Three-Star CB Aidyn Wiggins (Byrnes, SC) cut his list down to seven schools. He included Ole Miss, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, UNC, and Duke. One of the top CBs in the Palmetto State is a very sought after recruit.

The seven are in the mix for Wiggins, but he only has official visits set to three. Those being Virginia Tech (June 19), Cincinnati (June 12) and Syracuse (June 5). He has great relationships and is still growing within some schools. Wiggins visited Syracuse earlier this spring and they stood out to him a bunch. He also made stops to Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Ole Miss, and Duke.

He’s already got a commitment date in mind, July 3rd. The relationships and development will play a factor here but it’s shaping up to be a three school battle for the talented corner. Wake Forest also loves South Carolina talent so keep an eye there.
