Who is Jaseim Mitchell?
Jaseim Mitchell is a 6th senior linebacker from Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He played QB/DB. At Quarterback, Mitchell tallied 127 completions, 2,088 yards, and 24 touchdowns. He also had 152 carries for 526yds, and 11 touchdowns. He totaled 2,679yds and 35 touchdowns. On defense, he had 20 tackles, 2 tackles-for-loss, and 1 sack.
In his freshman season at Colorado State, Mitchell was a walk-on and he played in 12 games. His sophomore year he played in 3 games while recording just one assisted tackle. Then in his junior season, he totaled 36 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack.
After battling adversity through injuries, coaching changes, and position changes, Mitchell looks to make a bigger impact in the 2026-27 college football season after star linebacker Owen Long transferred in the offseason to Arizona State.
