Who is Cedric Ross?

Cedric Ross was a 3⭐️ recruit as an RB/ATH in the 2026 recruiting class out of Lubbock Estacado High School in Lubbock, Texas. He also ran track and qualified for state 3 times. In football he totaled 5,278yds and 63 touchdowns. In track, he won 36 medals including 1 state medal for the 100m dash.

Ross had 91 catches, 1,811 receiving yards, and 21 touchdowns. On the ground Ross had 2,349yds on 177 carries, and 28 touchdowns. His senior season he had over 2,100 all-purpose yards and 29 touchdowns.

He held offers from Texas Tech, University of Texas San Antonio, University of Texas El Paso, Arizona, North Texas, University of South Florida, Texas State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, Air Force, and New Mexico. Most importantly, Colorado State offered him in February of 2025. In early June, he took an official visit and a week later announced his commitment to Colorado State.

Now, he looks to bring major speed and agility to the Colorado State Rams offense as a freshman for the 2026-27 college football season.
