Who is Durell Robinson?

Durell Robinson attended the prestigious St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland his senior year of high school. He had 67 carries for 512yds, and 5 TDs that year. Robinson was ranked as a 3⭐-running back in the 2023 recruiting class. He was the #16 ranked recruit in Maryland, and the #70 ranked running back recruit in the country.

On January 3rd, 2023, Robinson committed to Charlotte University. During his time at Charlotte, he redshirted his freshman year and played in only 4 games. In those 4 games, he had 40 rushes for 166yds, and 1 touchdown. He also had 1 catch for 14yds. On December 4th, 2023, he entered the transfer portal as a redshirt freshman.

After about a month in the transfer portal, Robinson committed to coach Jim Mora and the Huskies at the University of Connecticut. He played in 12 games at UCONN, totaling 107 rushes, 731yds, and 8 touchdowns on the ground. In the air, Robinson had 14 catches for 75yds. After the season ended, Durell entered his name into the transfer portal once more. This time as a sophomore.

Just five days later he committed to Auburn University. During his sophomore season as an Auburn Tiger, Robinson played in only 4 games due to an unfortunate injury. His stats for those 4 games were 3 rushes, 57yds, and 1 touchdown. After Auburn’s season came to an end, Durell entered his name into the transfer portal looking to have a bigger role at a different football program. On January 19th, 2026, Robinson committed to Colorado State University to join old head coach Jim Mora on the Rams. Now, with the 2026-27 college football season inching closer, Robinson looks to have a huge year as the Rams potential 1st-option running back.
