WHO IS DREW SCHARNOWSKI?

Drew Scharnowski is a Belmont Transfer, whom is entering his junior season. He is a 6’9 230 pound forward from Burlington Illinois. Drew had a very solid sophomore season for Belmont just a season ago. According to ESPN, the talented forward averaged 10.7 points, 6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game last season. Drew shot nearly 68.1% from the field just a season ago. During his sophomore season at Belmont, Drew showed that he can guard every position on the floor. Drew entered the portal. Then shortly after, on April 19th, Drew announced he is committing to Duke.

The Belmont Transfer brings a lot to the squad this upcoming year for the Blue Devils. Drew has the ability to defend at a high level. Drew showed at Brelmont that he is a elite passer on the offensive end of the floor. There is a lot of belief from the Duke fanbase that Duke has found their Maliq Brown replacement. Drew joins a front court of elite talent. He joins the front court consisting of Big Pat, Boumtje-Boumtje, Maxime Meyer, & Cam Williams. It is going to be awesome to see his Drew’s development in Jon Scheyer’s system. Duke fans are extremely lucky to get this talent for possibly two seasons.
