Caleb Foster returns to Duke

‍ ‍On April 23rd, Duke Guard Caleb Foster announced that he will return to Duke for his senior season. Foster’s announcement was significant news for Duke Nation. Duke returns a veteran guard that averaged 8.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Foster provides solid shooting to an elite backcourt. The veteran guard shot 39.8% from 3 point range this past season. Duke is also getting back a guy that is elite defensively. Foster brings a ton of experience to another extremely talented roster. Duke returns a player that will do whatever it takes to bring a championship to Durham.

The respect Duke fans have for Caleb Foster is extremely high. What Foster is doing in the current college basketball climate is rare. Foster just loves to compete at Duke. A lot of people thought he would leave. A lot of people thought he would not accept a bench piece role. However, Wednesday afternoon, Caleb has proved all those people wrong. Caleb Foster has yet again shown loyalty to Jon Scheyer and the staff. He clearly bleeds blue and loves being Duke. It’s going to be awesome to see our leader back in the Duke uniform for his senior season.
