Dame SARR RETURNS TO DUKE

On April 24th 2026, Duke wing Dame Sarr announced he will be returning to Duke for his sophomore season. Sarr’s decision was massive news for Duke. Duke is getting back a guy who provided a lot defensively this past season. Dame was the best on-ball defender on the team this past season. In his freshmen season, Dame Sarr averaged 6.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game for the Blue Devils. Dame Sarr provided a lot more to the team than what his stats show. Dame’s defense and hot 3 point shooting at times were a boost that last years team needed at times throughout the season.

Dame Sarr coming back to Duke will allow him to raise his draft stock. Dame Sarr is due for a breakout sophomore season . This talented wing will have another offseason and regular season to show why he could be potential lottery pick in the 2027 NBA Draft. His defensive ability and offensive skillset will only improve with another season at Duke. Sarr will be one of the best defenders in College Basketball this upcoming season. The Duke fanbase has a lot to look forward too with Dame Sarr being back for his 2nd year at Duke.
