WHO IS CAMERON WILLIAMS?

Cameron Williams is a 6’11 5 star forward from St.Marys High School. Williams is the 3rd ranked player in the recruiting class. He is the number 1 ranked power forward in the class. Cameron Williams committed to Duke back in November. Williams averaged 14 points, 11 rebounds per game in his senior season at St.Mary’s High School in Arizona. He brings a ton talent to Duke. He is the most versatile forward in the class. Williams has elite skills inside the perimeter. Also, he has the ability to shoot the 3 point shot. Not only does he shoot threes, he does it efficiently. He has the ability to guard every position. Cam Williams was a elite shot blocker throughout his high school career and AAU career. Yet again, Duke is bringing in a monster at the forward position.

Cameron Williams is one of the most exciting players in the class. Everything about his game will translate very well when he arrives at Duke this summer. His versatility will do a lot for next years team on the defensive end. Duke has their elite rim protector. Cam Williams offensive game will fit seamlessly in Jon Scheyer’s system. His ability to play in the pick n roll at an elite level. Scheyer will more than likely utilize his ability to shoot from the perimeter as well. It is going to be another special season watching another elite talented forward at Duke.
