Georgia Tech Lands Commitment From Four-Star CB Larry Moon

Georgia Tech continued its recruiting momentum on Thursday as the Yellow Jackets secured a commitment from four-star CB Larry Moon, one of the top blue-chip CBs in the 2027 recruiting cycle.

Moon’s recruitment gained significant traction throughout the spring and summer. Georgia Tech emerged as the team to beat following multiple visits to Atlanta, with a ton of buzz increasingly favoring the Yellow Jackets leading up to his commitment.

Before transferring to IMG Academy, Moon showcased his playmaking ability at Aliquippa High School in Pennsylvania. During his sophomore season, he recorded 22 tackles, three interceptions, seven pass breakups and a sack while consistently making an impact on the back end of the defense.

For Georgia Tech, landing Moon represents another statement win on the recruiting trail. While continuing to establish themselves as a serious contender for top talent across the Southeast and across the country. The Yellow Jackets have built considerable momentum throughout June, adding multiple highly regarded prospects. Moon joins three-star MJ Burnett and three-star Julian Elzey in the secondary.

With Moon now in the fold, Georgia Tech adds an excellent defensive piece to its future secondary and a guy who should mesh well in Atlanta.
