Boilermakers Complete Flip of Three-Star OL Chase Clark from Oklahoma State

Since the beginning of June, Oklahoma State appeared to have secured a key piece for its future offensive line when three-star OL Chase Clark committed to the Cowboys. However, Purdue never stopped pushing.

This past weekend, Clark made the trip to West Lafayette for his official visit despite being committed to Oklahoma State. That visit proved to be a game-changer.

The Boilermakers made a strong impression throughout the weekend, showcasing their vision for the program and where Clark fits into it. The visit ultimately led to Purdue flipping the talented offensive lineman from Oklahoma State, giving the Boilermakers a major recruiting victory.

At 6’4 275lbs, Clark brings size, physicality, and plenty of developmental upside on the interior of Purdue’s offensive line room. His addition addresses a key need in the trenches and provides another building block for the future as the Boilermakers continue to reshape their roster.

With Clark now on board, Purdue receives another boost of Midwest talent. The coaching staff has placed a strong emphasis on recruiting and developing talent throughout the region, and Clark fits that mold perfectly. His commitment further strengthens what is shaping up to be one of Purdue’s most promising recruiting classes in recent years despite the program’s recent struggles on the field.

Clark attends Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois, one of the Midwest’s premier high school football programs. He now joins fellow offensive line commits three-star OL Nicholas Schurman and three-star OT Patrick O’Brien, giving Purdue an impressive foundation up front.

The Boilermakers continue to build momentum on the recruiting trail, and Clark’s flip is another sign that the staff is gaining traction with talented prospects across the Midwest. As the class continues to grow, Purdue is assembling a group that could play a major role in the program’s future success in West Lafayette.
