The Bronze Boot Is Back In Fort Collins

Yesterday, September 5th, Colorado State kicked off the 2026-27 college football season with a win against longtime rival Wyoming. The Rams beat the Cowboys 35-13

Colorado State QB Hauss Hejny went 23/33, 214 passing yards, and 5 touchdown passes. He also put up a 28-yard catch of his own on a trick play and 35 rush yards. WR RJ Vick Jr. had himself a day too. Vick had 3 touchdown catches, one being a 57-yarder. The defense also had an amazing night forcing four turnovers with three of those being interceptions.

Us fans also had a great night. After the final kneel out of the game, we quickly stormed the field celebrating the big win of the new era. A new conference, a new team, a new head coach, and a new sponsorship, Colorado State football can and will only go up from here
