Rams Hire New Assistant Men’s BasektBall Coach
The Colorado State Rams have hired Chris Haslam as an Assistant Coach for the men’ basketball team. With the departure of old Assistant Coach Ken DeWeese to Colorado Mesa University, it seems that the Rams have found the perfect fit to fill that vacancy.
Haslam, born in Southport, England, played basketball for Wyoming University in the mid 1990’s. He then spent time back across the pond playing for multiple European teams and even played in the British Basketball League. He became an assistant coach at Montana State from 2013-2023, helping the Bobcats to the 2022 and 2023 Big Sky Tournament Championship. Haslam then became an assistant coach at Utah State University, where he helped the Aggies win an outright Mountain West Conference Title in the 2023-24 season. Then, he was hired at Oregon State as an assistant coach, where the Beavers went 37-29 over the 2 seasons he was coaching there.
Now, Haslam is at Colorado State where he looks to help bring the Rams to a potential Pac-12 title run, and even another March Madness appearance.
