Duke Men’s Basketball released their non-conference schedule on August 7th. It put the college basketball world in a frenzy. Duke is set to play 3 top 10 teams within a two week span. Scheyer wants all the smoke with anyone that will play him. These games will get the squad ready for what is coming in the NCAA Tournament very quickly. This schedule is the toughest non-conference schedule in the country. Duke’s non-conference schedule consists of playing teams such as Illinois, Uconn, Florida, Gonzaga, Texas Tech & more. Duke fans have a ton of games to be excited about. Jon Scheyer is on his revenge tour in Year 5. The College Basketball world should be terrified.

There are 3 games that are circled on my calendar. The first game for me is Illinois. I firmly believe this game is a preview of the national championship game. Illinois and Duke are two of the top 3 teams in the country. Duke and Illinois have loaded rosters. Illinois returned a bunch of pieces off their Final Four team last year. It will be a fun game to watch. The second game that is circled on my calendar is UConn. There will be so many storylines ahead of this matchup with the Huskies. It will be interesting to see how Nik plays against his former team. Jon Scheyer is looking to get his revenge on Dan Hurley. However, I think Duke’s talented roster will overwhelm this UConn team. The third game i have circled on my calendar is Texas Tech. The reason why is because Jon Scheyer is seeking revenge on a Texas Tech team that beat Duke last season. This game has potential to be a preview of a Final Four matchup. The season right around the corner. The wait is almost over folks.
