Purdue Basketball: Non-Con Schedule Released

The 2026 Purdue Basketball Non-Con schedule has been released!

Matt Painter has once again built an extremely tough combination of national powerhouses, and sneaky mid-majors.

Mid-majors: The Boilermakers will take on Illinois State, Cal Baptist, Valparaiso, Oakland, and Lipscomb. All of these teams are respectable tournament caliber teams as of late. There are not many coaches who are willing to schedule this amount of tough mid-majors. It’s not considered to be all that impressive of a win, but then in the event of a loss it looks terrible.

Powerhouses: Purdue also has a solid group of games against some elite teams too. Purdue will start with an exhibition game against UConn. This will be followed by regular season games against Tennessee, Iowa State, Gonzaga, and Oklahoma. There is also an undecided Indy Classic opponent still yet to be determined . This type of a schedule is what we have come to expect with Coach Painter.
