Behind The Commitment: three-Star DL Kenny Fairley Talks Colorado Commitment
Last Friday, 2027 Three-Star DL Kenny Fairley announced his commitment to Colorado. The Georgia native picked the Buffs over Purdue and Cincinnati. Fairley is very excited to be a Buff and get to work with Coach Prime.
Colorado was able to impress him on a visit, “It just felt like home. The coaches and players made it feel that way.” It seems over time Colorado’s DL Coach Dante Carter or Coach Pun helped the Buffs land the talented defensive lineman. The communication between the two everyday also played a part.
The relationship with Coach Pun was so “different” it truly was something that Cincinnati and Purdue couldn’t beat. Playing under Coach Prime is appealing as well, “He played at the highest level for a long time. So learning from him is just a blessing.” One thing that sticks out to him is the development in a good environment.
Colorado fans have seemed pretty hyped to land Fairley. It’s safe to say they should be, he seems very locked in. The Creekside DL said, “I’m locked in. I’m home. Sko Buffs!”
