Braylon Mullins Returning

Braylon Mullins is coming back to UConn, and that is a huge win for Dan Hurley and the Huskies heading into next season. Mullins made a big impact as a freshman, averaging 12.0 points per game while knocking down 72 threes and shooting 88.9 percent from the free throw line. He also gave UConn one of its biggest moments of the year with a deep game winner against Duke in the Elite Eight that sent the Huskies to the Final Four.

His return gives UConn a proven scorer and a player who already looks comfortable in big moments. Even with NBA draft talk around his name, Mullins chose to come back to Storrs for his sophomore season, which gives the Huskies a major piece to build around as the roster continues to take shape.

For UConn fans, this feels like the kind of news that can keep the program right in the national title conversation. Mullins already showed he can deliver on the biggest stage, and now he gets another year to grow into an even bigger role
